Everyone loves to hate Christmas movies. They’re sappy, overly romantic cheesefests, but something tells me Kevin Feig directing, Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding as the two leads with a script from Emma Thompson could be a winning combo this holiday season.
Emilia Clarke stars as Kate, who is constantly unlucky in life. That is until she starts a new job at a department store and meets Tom. Kate’s life starts to seem a whole lot better.
There’s a lot of theories about Tom’s identity floating around the internet, but Last Christmas has the potential to become a holiday classic with Feig’s signature humor and Thompson’s extraordinary wit. We will have to wait and see!
Last Christmas will be released November 8th in the US and will feature music from none other than George Michael himself. Happy holidays!
